EAA Membership brings to each individual many
benefits. One of the most important is the Chapter network that gives you the
opportunity to share your interest in aviation with literally thousands of other
members in a variety of different activities and events.
Each Chapter has its own personality that is
reflected in its members and local culture. The common thread you will find
among all Chapters is an interest in enjoying aviation with others who have a
similar interest and the desire to share aviation with the local community
through fly-ins, picnics, workshops, Young Eagle rallies and more.
EAA Chapter 839 is unique. Our membership guides
our activities and personality as an organization. We strive to deliver the
following sources of value and enjoyment to our Members:
- FRIENDSHIP:
EAA members are aviation enthusiasts. EAA Chapter 839 provides a forum for
Members to come together at a local, personal level and share their interests
and common love for aviation. This social interaction with kindred spirits is
one of the most fundamental and rewarding reasons EAA Members join a Chapter.
- CONNECTIONS:
Our members represent a wealth of aviation knowledge, skills and resources.
The Chapter enables a network to develop where EAA Members may assist each
other and share their expertise. This typically includes homebuilders working
together, Technical Counselors and Flight Advisors providing their support.
But, it also involves people with many other common aviation interests sharing
their experiences and helping each other. Sharing of the skills, knowledge and
experience of other EAA Members was one of the original, founding tenants of
the EAA.
- FUN & FLYING:
We provide a local, on-going activity base for Members. Every meeting is an
aviation activity. In addition, we look forward to the guest speakers,
fly-ins, fly-outs, forums, workshops and a multitude of other activities. Some
activities are primarily for the benefit the our local EAA Chapter 839
Members, but frequently the larger aviation community is served as well.
Chapters are the organizers of literally thousands of aviation activities and
events annually - more aviation related activities than any other organization
in the world.
Dues for the chapter are $10 per month or $110 per year.
To become a member of the chapter you must be a member of
the EAA.
